The Kokoda Tribute

The music on the tribute comes from Australian composer Sean O'Boyle. It is part of a tone poem called "The Death of Atsumori San" on his ABC Classics release "Dreams are Forever".
The music is scored for Shakuhachi (Japanese end blown Flute) and Symphony Orchestra and is performed by Grand Master of the Shakuhachi, Dr. Riley Lee with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra conducted by the composer.
"The Death of Atsumori San" depicts struggle, life & death and is a compelling addition to the impact of the tribute.
