Rising Sun Films (RSF) is an independent all Australian Film Production Company based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. See our Corporate and Mission pages for more details on RSF.
RSF has a slate of feature film and mini-series projects with its flagship production "KOKODA!" at the lead. This epic film is based on the bloody WWII Kokoda campaign in Papua New Guinea, which saw some of the fiercest battles of World War II.
"Kokoda!" takes a look at this campaign from both sides- Japanese and Australian, as a backdrop to a universal story about two men coming to terms with their past and discovery by the younger generations of their history.
