Derek Murphy
Deputy Chairman and Non-Executive Director of RSF.
Derek qualified as a barrister in 1970 and spent nearly 20 years in Hong Kong, firstly as a Crown Counsel, then as Deputy Commissioner for Securities and Commodities Trading; Managing Director of Hong Kong's largest fund management company and later as Group Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications for a large listed international conglomerate. He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia; a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management; a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of London and is a director of a large brushware manufacturing company in China.
